About SBL
Saipan Baseball League (SBL) oversees the promotion and development of baseball in the Northern Mariana Islands. The SBL is a proud member of the World Baseball & Softball Confederation. It competes in regional events, such as the Pacific Mini Games, Pacific Games, Micronesian Games, and Micronesian Baseball Classic. Locally, the SBL holds competitions in Open and Masters divisions and also partners with professional clubs in Japan and Korea in hosting baseball clinics for kids and adults. In 2022 on Saipan, the SBL assembled the NMI Men's National Baseball Team that took the gold medal in the Pacific Mini Games as it defeated long-time rival Guam in front of the adoring home crowd.
