About NMITF
The Northern Marianas Tennis Federation (NMITF) is the governing body of tennis in the NMI. The NMITF holds a Class B membership to the International Tennis Federation, hosts ITF competitions, and competes in regional and international events, such as Micronesian Games, Pacific Oceania Junior Championships, Pacific Mini Games, and the Pacific Games. Becoming a Class B member was a huge milestone for the federation, as it allows the NMI to compete as an independent nation in both the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup. To date, the NMITF has produced two world-class players—Colin Sinclair and Carol Lee—that have been competing in the ITF Pro Circuit.
