About NMIBF
The NMI Basketball Federation is the governing body of basketball in the Northern Mariana Islands. They have youth programs for boys and girls as well as adults'. The NMIBF offers an interscholastic program across all school levels (elementary, middle, and high school) in partnership with the CNMI Public School System's Athletic Department. The NMIBF sends teams to regional and international competitions sanctioned by FIBA Asia and FIBA Oceania and the federation is a long-time member of FIBA World. In the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau, its women's team handed the NMI its first bronze medal in the quadrennial event.
